start to collect social security and still working, then get laid off. can I still collect unemployment and also collect social security

April 2, 2010 i will be 66 yrs old. I am continuing to work but just found out that I will lose my job May 1 and my second job July 1. Can I collect unemployment if i am just starting social security retirement

According to the USDOL 2009 Nonmonetary Chartbook Table 5-17 New York does not reduce unemployment benefits if you receive Social Security.
