Two Part Time jobs. Let go from one. Eligibility for Partial Unemployment Benefits.

(New York Partial Unemployment Benefits)

My wife was recently let go from her part time job at a childcare facility. She had been working there on a P/T basis for five years. She had continued to work P/T for my company as an office manager and is still employed at my company. Is she eligible for NYS Unemployment benefits based on her loss of employment from one (of two) part time jobs? She is also a college student and working to help pay for her eduction. Thank you.

Yes, she could be as long as she meets New York's requirements to receive partial unemployment benefits .. both monetarily and for the reason her other employer let her go.
