unemployment benefits in nevada

I chose not to have taxes taken out of my weekly amount, I have only been on it for 8 months, Will i have to pay taxes on this

Yes, unemployment benefits are taxed by the Federal government and a state may. I do not see that NV even offers an option for state and local taxes to withheld .. Does NV withhold state income taxes??

The federal tax is 10 percent and in 2009 the first 2400 dollars was exempt from taxes due to the ARRA (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act) or the stimulus package.

You should have received a 1099

No Nevada does not have state taxes

Then you only have the Fed tax to worry about .. minus the amount of benefits that were exempted.
