Unemployed Stories

Unethical decisions by staff, so I quit.

by Carlene
(Modesto, CA)

I was placed by a temp agency for a temp discharge planning job. There were several discharges that I thought were unethical, so I quit. I am a Registered Nurse in CA.

I have been denied unemployment, I am appealing as a nurse should not be part of unethical medicine. Also I did not give 2 weeks notice which I do not think was necessary since I was still in training, and not up to par as a full time employee.

What do you think?

I do have an appeals telephone hearing next week.

I think you'll lose.

Chris
