What is the length of time I have to file a claim for unemploymnet in Florida?

I last worked for an income tax preparation office from January until April of 2008. I have not been able to find work since then. I was not aware that I could file for unemployment for a job that I knew would only last 4 months. Since I have learned that I was eligible. Is it long past the time that I can file?


Not necessarily. Any problems that might arise for you .. as far as when you file, would be a monetary eligibility issue, but that is entirely dependent on the wages in your base period.
