What is the normal timeline to fire someone after they are absent

by kathleen
(California)

I already wrote you a question I am waiting for a response through e-mail. Finding this site is really helping me out for my hearing next week! Thank-you!

Anyway. I was called in and fired for being absent 13 days after the absence they used to fire me with.

PLUS. I had already worked 4 hours that day and was called in after my lunch break in the evening. My manager and I and other managers were very normal and friendly the whole two weeks before that horrible night I was fired. I was totally SHOCKED, as was all my coworkers as I walked out!

Hi Kathleen,

All you are really allowing me to answer you with is this.
